This is the blog attached to thecabin.io — a home server in Riga that hosts a pile of small browser games and self-hosted services.

The site

• Written as Markdown files, kept in git.
• Generated by Hugo with a hand-rolled theme.
• Served as plain static files by Caddy, from the same machine as everything else. No CDN, no cloud, no third parties.
• No JavaScript, no cookies, no analytics. The pages you get are the pages there are.

The design borrows its philosophy from the brutalist corner of the web: text first, monospace everywhere, works fine with everything disabled.
